Apple unveil their new product (in 1984)
In anticipation of the iPad/iSlate/iTablet (whatever) unveling on Wedenesday, gaze aghast at how easily impressed the people of yesteryear were with computer developments. In the video above Steve Jobs unveiled a computer on which you could play chess (in bad 3D) or write in different fonts.
If you're after speculation about what the iPad/iSlate will be after, spend a day grazing technology blogs. With few hard facts known, all that's certain is that if it doesn't make Minority Report look like something archaic there will be many technogeeks very disappointed. In all likelihood, FHM will wait for the second generation, letting Apple sort out the issues (likely to include poor battery life) before begrudgingly digging deep into our pockets and admitting that yes, Apple products are cool.
